Visitor Centre Displays
EDF Energy – Dorenell Windfarm
This beautifully constructed Visitor Centre Displays was created for the Dorenell Windfarm Visitor Centre on the Glenfiddich Estate.
Visitor Centre Display Graphics
A combined project with designer David Vickers of DesignCoUK, has produced this stunning permanent display. The 12 visitor centre display graphics were printed on our Anapurna flatbed. This was supported by our AGFA workflow to ensure accurate colour and high quality reproduction of David’s artwork.
Interactive Displays
This permanent display also includes some excellent tactile touches and interactive displays. One of the graphics includes a 25 flip-over display, where visitors can reveal instant answers by simply flipping the relevant graphic.
The six piece block puzzle was created by printing direct to 36 wooden panels, each slotting into one another to form cubes. The panels were varnished after being printed and form a very durable block puzzle. A design from David Vickers that needed a bit of thinking about!
Wooden Graphic Display frames
The 12 graphics themselves are set within timber frames and constructed on site. It gives a truly stunning presentation of facts and figures about the local eco-system and windfarm. And fitting well within the visitor centre itself.
The visitor centre displays took a relatively short time to produce with much of the work being in design and conception. The team always enjoy coming up with the solutions to allow ideas to work safely and practically. Its great to see the results after the installation is complete.
